Fast Track Cities Workshop Japan 2023 Special symposium
The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) has established the Fast Track Targets to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030. It promotes the Fast-Track Cities Initiative, an international partnership to achieve these targets.
The International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC), an international non-profit organization, and the Japanese Society for AIDS Research (JASR) will co-host this workshop to introduce the Fast-Track Cities Initiative and stimulate discussion on HIV countermeasures in Japan. The conference aims to promote discussion on HIV/AIDS countermeasures in Japan and formulate policy recommendations necessary to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Japan.
We look forward to the participation of people engaged in a wide range of HIV-related activities, including government, medical care, and prevention and awareness activities.11/7/2023

City efforts to end Fast Track Cities AIDS epidemic
Fast Track Cities Workshop Japan 2022 was held in Tokyo in November 2022. Fast Track Cities(FTC) workshop will be held in Japan for the second time following the last year. In this workshop, physicians and researchers at home and abroad report on the status of the most recent HIV/AIDS and the current issues, and they can also listen to the voices of the parties involved and their support groups. FTC characteristic is that the healthcare providers, the parties involved, and the supporters meet together. What is FTC in the first place?

The 99th HGPI Seminar – Lessons from Fast-Track Cities Initiative
This webinar will be convened under the HGPI and UNAIDS Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which signifies the organizations’ commitment to enhance dialogue and combine their efforts to achieve the common goal of ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Asia and Pacific region.

Memorandum of Understanding between UNAIDS and NCGM
Tokyo Sexual Health is based in National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). On November 26, we had an online ceremony of signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the UNAIDS and NCGM. This partnership aims to work together in HIV promotion and prevention both within Japan and internationally.
